AMENITIES Tenants and visitors to River’s Edge can enjoy a multitude of amenities that make a lasting impression on our clients, tenants and visitors. YMCA A new YMCA Fitness Center is located in the Business Campus at River’s Edge. It contains a large workout facility sporting new equipment, and a teen center room. Expansion plans call for construction of a gymnasium. The YMCA currently is renovating the adjacent outdoor pool and is constructing an Olympic-size pool for competition swim meets and a warm-water therapy pool. The pools will eventually be enclosed and become indoor facilities. Day Care The Tri-City Area YMCA Child Development Center is located in the River’s Edge Business Campus, adjacent to the residential area. The facility offers a wide range of early education programs including language arts, math, science, social studies, art and music, and physical education. The associated teachers are all licensed for early education, and the Center is licensed through the Illinois State Division of Children and Family Services. The Child Development Center operates Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., for children ranging from infants to age 6. For more information or to obtain an application, please call 618-451-9107. Reception Center The River's Edge Reception Center is a large, attractive facility conveniently located minutes from downtown St. Louis. The facility can comfortably hold 150 people. Choose from a variety of seating arrangements and the room can be suited to meet any business need. The River's Edge Reception Center can be transformed to accommodate presentation or training sessions to elegant banquets and receptions. Bike Trail River’s Edge is located on the Confluence Bike Trail route. The Confluence Bike Trail is 20+ mile trail, that when completed, will create a loop on both sides of the Mississippi River stretching from downtown St. Louis to Alton, Illinois. Security The Tri-City Regional Port District provides security on a 24/7 basis at River’s Edge. While the area is extremely safe, many of the tenants prefer our added security benefit. Currently, cameras are being installed to provide an even safer and more secure environment. |
LOCATIONThe Tri-City Regional Port District is strategically located in southwestern Illinois, just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri, and on the Mississippi River. An adjacent 6-lane limited access highway (Illinois Route 3) provides immediate road access to Interstates 70, 40/64, 44 and 55, as well as the outer belt for St. Louis (Interstates 270 and 255).
