TRI-CITY REGIONAL PORT DISTRICT

Barges

The Tri-City Regional Port District is a 1,200-acre facility located in southwestern Illinois, just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Annually, the Port moves 3+ million tons of products by barge, rail and truck. The Port has numerous commercial and industrial buildings for lease as well as sites available for development.

The Tri-City Regional Port District is strategically located in the heart of the U.S. on the Mississippi River and adjacent to an excellent highway system. The Port District, and its River’s Edge development, is located in the cities of Granite City, Madison and Venice, Illinois. The Port, and its tenants, offer a wide range of services and facilities including barge, rail and truck transfer of commodities, industrial, commercial and residential development sites and warehouse and commercial lease opportunities.

LOCATION

The Tri-City Regional Port District is strategically located in southwestern Illinois, just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri, and on the Mississippi River. An adjacent 6-lane limited access highway (Illinois Route 3) provides immediate road access to Interstates 70, 40/64, 44 and 55, as well as the outer belt for St. Louis (Interstates 270 and 255).

HOUSING

The Tri-City Regional Port District manages 150+ housing units at River’s Edge, ranging from single-family homes to apartments. Nearly all of the units are available on a first-priority basis to active military families stationed in the St. Louis area.
